Device Support
The ATM Module allows you to connect your IBM
8271 Nways Ethernet LAN Switch to an ATM
network. Switches that support the ATM Module are
listed in the “Release Notes” that accompany your
ATM Module.
Pre-installation Procedure
This section describes the procedures you need to
perform before installing the ATM Module.
Check the Power Supply
Before installing the ATM Module ensure that you
have sufficient power supply to power the Switch and
ATM Module. Refer to the Release Notes for details
about power supplies.
