Setting the beep
The camera beeps to let you know that it is has finished capturing an image, or to warn you
that the batteries are empty or the memory card is full or inoperable. The beep is on by
default but you can turn it off if you are in a location where silence is required (for example,
a museum or a school play).
To turn the beep on or off:
1. Press the
image LCD
on/off
button to turn the image LCD on.
2.
Press the
menu
button.
The menu appears on the image LCD with the
Setup
icon highlighted.
3.
Press
OK
to open the
Setup
menu.
4. Use the up or down side of the 5-way controller to scroll to
Beep
.
5.
Use the right or left side of the 5-way controller to select
On
or
Off
, then press
OK
.
