Configure TELRCF
Although the TELRCF utility is automatically installed with other LAN
Server files, it must be configured prior to use.
To configure TELRCF for a single connection or multiple connections,
follow these steps:
1) Open the E MULEX P RINT M ANAGER .
2) Highlight (single click) the T ELRCF icon.
3) Pull down the P ROGRAM menu.
4) Select C OPY .
This opens the C OPY P ROGRAM window.
5) Enter a name in C HANGE T ITLE .
For example,
Telrcf 138.239.18.2
6) Click on C OPY .
This creates a new icon with the title just entered.
7) Select the new icon.
8) Pull down the P ROGRAM menu.
9) Select P ROPERTIES .
This opens the P ROPERTIES window.
10) Enter desired TELRCF options in the Parameters box.
Available options:
-h server_name or ip_address
-p rcf_tcp_port_number (default is 2048)
-f script_file_name
-t output_file_name
-e escape_character (default is C)
11) Select either OS/2 F ULL S CREEN or OS/2 W INDOW .
12) Click the C HANGE button to close the window.
TELRCF is configured and ready for use.
