Status and error lights
This section describes the meaning of lights on the control panel.
The table below describes the lights showing the printer status.
= on, = flashing
The table below contains the lights showing the errors, a brief description and suggestions for
correcting the problem.

Light Description
The printer is ready to print.
The printer is starting.
The printer is printing.
The printer is cleaning the print head.
The printer is charging the ink.
The print job is canceled.
Lights Problem and solution
Ink end
The installed ink cartridge is expended. Replace the ink cartridge.
Ink cartridge error
The ink cartridge is not installed. Install the ink cartridge.
The ink cartridge is not detected. Install the ink cartridge again.
The installed ink cartridge cannot be used
with the printer. Install the genuine ink cartridge.
Ink low
The ink cartridge is nearly expended. Obtain the new ink cartridge.
