DEPTH-OF-FIELD SCALE DEPTH-OF-FIELD SCALE
Choose FILM FORMAT BASIS to help you make practical assessments of depth of fi eld for pictures that will be viewed as prints
and the like, PIXEL BASIS to help you assess depth of fi eld for pictures that will be viewed at high resolutions on computers or
other electronic displays.
RELEASE/FOCUS PRIORITY RELEASE/FOCUS PRIORITY
Choose how the camera focuses in focus mode AF-S or AF-C.

RELEASE RELEASE Shutter response is prioritized over focus. Pictures can be taken when the camera is not in focus.
FOCUS FOCUS Focus is prioritized over shutter response. Pictures can be only taken when the camera is in focus.
CORRECTED AF FRAME CORRECTED AF FRAME
If ON is selected, a second focus frame for focus distances of about 50 cm (1.6 ft) will be added to the display in the optical view-
fi nder. The focus frame for the current focus distance is displayed in green when the shutter button is pressed halfway.
