If you map the diagnostic data to a separate connection, use a long RPI
to reduce the Ethernet traffic, since the diagnostics do not need to be
updated as frequently as I/O data.

Offset Counter Description
0 Transmitted network frames
1 Received frames with good status
2 Received frames with a CRC error
3 Received frames with an abort error
4 Received frames with noise errors
5 Receive timeout. Scanner sent a message to a
base but did not receive a reply within the
timeout period
6 Received frames too short
7 Received frames too long
8 Received frames with protocol errors
9 Error type
10 I/O scan counter
11 I/O inits. The number of times the I/O
