Prior to use
You can operate the device either with the enclosed power supply adapter or
with 3 x 1.5V type C/LR14 batteries (not supplied).
Do not use both operating options at the same time. Remove the batteries
before you connect the device with the AC power adapter. You thus
prevent possible leakage of the batteries.
Battery operation
Batteries are not supplied. 3 x 1.5V type
C /LR14 batteries are required. Press
down the tab on the cover of the battery
compartment and remove it. Insert the
batteries with the correct polarity as
shown in the adjoining illustration. The
correct polarity is illustrated in the
battery compartment and on the
batteries. Close the battery compartment
again.
If the volume decreases or if the device
is not working, remove the batteries or
replace them with new batteries of the
same type. The device does not indicate
when the battery capacity is exhausted.
