unusual sounds or smells, turn the compact radio off immediately. In such
cases, the radio should not be used until it has been inspected by
authorised service personnel. Only have the device repaired by qualified
personnel. Never open the housing of the radio.
Power supply adapter
Always handle the housing of the power supply adapter and do not pull
on the connection cable itself.
When changing the operating environment, for example, from a cold to a
warm environment, the compact radio and the power supply adapter
may first need to acclimatise. Do not insert the power supply adapter until
the temperature of the radio and the power supply adapter has adjusted
to the temperature of the new operating environment. There is a risk of a
short circuit and fire.
Always insert the power supply adapter into an easily accessible socket
in order to be able to plug it out quickly in dangerous situations.
Low power consumption takes place, even in standby mode. A complete
disconnection from the mains is achieved only if the power supply is
removed from the socket.
Remove the power supply from the socket in the event of a thunderstorm
with lightning. There is a risk of a short circuit and fire.
Do not place furniture or other heavy objects on the connection cable
and ensure that it is not kinked.
Never tie a knot in the connection cable and do not tie cables together.
Ensure that the connection cable is placed so that no one can trip over it
and it does not cause an obstruction.
