alterations to the connection cable. If the connection cable is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service
representative or a similarly qualified person to prevent any safety
hazards.
Remove the power supply from the socket for longer periods of non-use to
avoid short circuits and fire. You also save electricity.
Batteries
Always ensure correct polarity of the batteries. Please note the markings in the
battery compartment and on the batteries. Never try to recharge batteries and
never throw them into an open fire. Never mix batteries (old and new, alkaline
and carbon, etc.) at the same time. Remove the batteries if you will not be
using the device for an extended period of time. In the event of improper use,
there is a risk of explosion and leakage.
Batteries are not toys. Never let children play with batteries as they may
swallow them. Consult a doctor immediately if someone swallows
batteries.
Do not deform or open batteries because chemicals may leak and
endanger your health.
Note the usage restrictions or bans on usage of battery-operated devices
in locations with a particularly high risk potential such as tank facilities,
aircraft, hospitals, etc.
