SEARCH button (direct search)
Press the SEARCH button to stop at a track, a chapter or a specific time. Each press of the
button changes the selection. Playback will start at the selected point.
If you wish to enter two-digit numbers, repeatedly press the 10+ button for the tens and then
the number for the units. Example: for "25" press the 10+ button twice and then the 5
button.
The SEARCH button function works differently for different media:
DVD:
Pressing the SEARCH button once: Using the numeric buttons, enter the desired chapter
within a title. The buttons can be used to switch to title input and then back to
chapter input.
Pressing the SEARCH button twice: Enter the desired time within the title in the format
h:mm:ss. Note: During playback of a title/chapter only.
Pressing the SEARCH button three times: Enter the desired time within the chapter in the
format h:mm:ss. Note: During playback of a title/chapter only.
Audio CD/VCD:
Pressing the SEARCH button once: "DISC GOTO" - Enter the desired time on the CD in
the format mm:ss.
Pressing the SEARCH button twice: "TRACK GOTO" - Enter the desired time within the
current track in the format mm:ss.
Pressing the SEARCH button three times: "SELECT TRACK" – Enter the desired track as a
two-digit number, e.g. 02.
MP3:
Pressing the SEARCH button once: Always enter the desired track as a three-digit
number. Example: for track 5 enter 005. Please note: If the current folder contains
additional sub-folders, these will be included in the numbering.
Pressing the SEARCH button twice: Enter the desired time within a track in the format
mm:ss.
A-B button (repeat section)
Press the A-B button to define where a section to be repeated starts. The A- icon will be
displayed on screen.
When playback reaches the point marking the end of the section to be repeated, press the A-B
button a second time. The A-B icon will be displayed on screen. The defined section will
then immediately be played in loop. The A-B icon is continually displayed on screen
during the loop.
