DVD operation
Inserting the disk
 Slide the disk tray lock (2) on the DVD player (A) to the right and fold the display (3) down to
open the disk tray.
 Insert the DVD with the printed side facing up and carefully press the locking system in the
middle until the DVD clicks into place.
 Now fold the display (3) back again until the disk tray lock (2) clicks into place.
The inserted DVD will usually start by itself after a few seconds. You may have to press the 
II
button to play the DVD or a menu might appear in which you have to make a selection using the
 buttons.
Button functions
"Invalid" on-screen notification
If you select a function that is not possible for the inserted medium or which is
not available in the current mode or at the current time, the adjacent icon will
be shown on screen.
PLAY 
II button
 Press the II button to start or pause playback. The II button must be pressed again to resume
playback.
STOP  button
 Press the  button once to stop the DVD playback. You can continue playback from the same
point by pressing the 
II button.
 Press the  button twice to stop DVD playback altogether. It is then no longer possible to
resume playback from the same point.
SKIP
I or I button
 Press the I or I button during playback to jump back or forward a chapter. Please note
that on many DVDs the chapter before the actual film starts (e.g. the licensing information) can
not be skipped. The icon will appear on screen in this case.
 Press the I or I button during playback of other media to jump back or forwards a section.
 and  buttons (fast forward / rewind)
 Press the  or  button during playback to fast forward or rewind. Pressing the  or 
buttons repeatedly increases the playback speed as follows: 2x  4x  8x  16x  32x.
The level currently selected will be shown on screen.
