Inserting the Batteries into the Handsets
Open the battery compartment. Insert the rechargeable batteries into the handsets as shown in the
following diagram. Take care to insert the batteries into the device observing the correct
polarity (+ and – ). The correct polarity is labelled on the batteries and inside the battery compartment.

Charging the Batteries
Once the batteries have been inserted in the handsets [C], they must be charged using the base or
charger cradle before using the handsets for the first time. To do so, place the handsets [C] with the
display [2] facing forward onto the charging cradle or the base.
On delivery, the batteries are not charged.
