Before You Start
Connecting the Base
You’ll find a figure of the components mentioned below in the Package Contents section on
page 113.
 Using the supplied telephone cord [F], connect the telephone connection socket [26] on the
bottom of the base [B] to the telephone wall jack.
 Connect the power adapter [A] to the power adapter socket [27] on the bottom of the base
[B]. Plug the power adapter [A] into an easily accessible wall outlet.
 Secure the cables in the corresponding cable guides [25].
If possible, do not place the base in living rooms or bedrooms. Choose a place where you
are usually not present all the time (e.g. on the corridor). The low-power ECO mode will
already avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation. For more information, please read the
ECO Mode chapter on page 136.
Connecting the Charger Cradle
 Connect the power plug of the charger cradle [D] to a wall outlet.
