WARNING! DO NOT operate using flammable liquids in a confined space, the
area should have adequate ventilation.
1.1 If pumping flammable liquids, avoid proximity to naked flames or welding
operations.
1.2 Wear appropriate protective clothing when pumping solvents. We particularly
recommend eye/face and hand protection, available from your authorised
Sealey dealer.
1.3 Keep children away from areas where solvents are being used.
1.4 Ensure Health & Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations
are adhered to when using this equipment.
1.5 Ensure any spillages are dealt with immediately. Failure to do so could lead to
injury.

OPERATION
3.1 Insert the base of the pump (A) into the suction tube (B). Ensure that the
tube is pushed fully home to provide an airtight fit.
3.2 Screw the delivery tube (C) firmly into position, once again ensuring an airtight
seal.
3.3 Screw the air-vent cap on the top of the pump fully down.
3.4 Ensure the outlet of the delivery tube is well below the level of the liquid
in thecontainer being emptied - when the levels are equal, the syphon will
cease to operate.
3.5 Pump the handle (D) vigorously, until the flow of liquid (visible through the
delivery tube) is free of air bubbles and then hold the handle down until a
steady flow is established.
3.6 The handle can now be released and the syphon will continue until the
level in the container being emptied reaches the level of the delivery tube
outlet.
3.7 To stop the syphon, unscrew the air release cap (E) and the syphon will
be interrupted.
