Introduction / General Information and Safety Notes
Avoid the risk
of injury!
The assembly is only to be carried out by com-
petent persons.
Keep the bags and foil of the packaging away
from babies and small children, danger of suf-
focation!
CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Please ensure
that no parts are damaged and that all parts are
correctly assembled. Incorrect assembly could
lead to injury. Damaged parts could impact
safety and function.
Do not use the tub filling / shower head valve
7
or shower rail
13
to pull or prop yourself up.
The materials have not been designed for such result-
ing forces.
When adjusting the hot water temperature be sure
the water temperature is not too high.
CAUTION! RISK OF SCOLDING! The tem-
perature of the water in the shower can be altered
by adjusting the shower head
3
and the hand
shower head
4
. Please check the water tem-
perature before you enter the water spray jet.
CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Please refer to
the operating instructions of your electric drill.
Avoid damage
to property!
CAUTION! WATER DAMAGE! Switch off the
general water supply.
Be sure all seals are correctly seated.
The Mixer Shower is unsuitable for use with
low-pressure tanks and small-scale tank heaters.
We recommend fitting a filter, in order to protect
the incoming end of the tap and, in doing so,
protect the cartridge from damage by foreign
bodies.
The product is only suitable for use in rooms in
which a temperature above 0 °C is maintained.
In case of potential frost, cut off the water sup-
ply and drain the taps.
Any leakage or sudden escape of water can
cause considerable damage to buildings and
property. All connections must therefore be
checked carefully to ensure that they are tight.
Familiarise yourself prior to installation with all
local conditions, e.g. water connections and
shut-off device.
Seals are subject to wear. They must be changed
from time to time.
Before attaching the product to the wall, check
which mounting materials are suitable for your
wall. We have supplied fixings suitable for an
ordinary solid masonry wall.
Assembly and operation
Installation
Note: Please carefully read the fitting instructions
prior to installation. Please note, incorrect installation
will void all warranty – particularly in relation to sub-
sequent damage.
CAUTION! Shut off the water supply prior to
installation. Before you begin drilling holes for the
mounting plate, check the area to be drilled for con-
cealed supply pipes or cabling, e.g. with a metal /
cable detector. Failure to do so may result in prop-
erty damage.
1. If necessary, roughen the ½" thread (small) of
the S-connectors
12
with an old saw blade.
2. Seal the ½" thread with hemp or sealing tape
(not included in scope of delivery).
3. Screw in the S-connectors
12
so they protrude
from the wall at a right angle. This is required
to prevent the swivel nuts from leaking.
4. Horizontally align the screwed in S-connectors
12
using the spacing guide with the tub fill /
shower head valve
7
.
5. Screw the covering rosetted
11
hand tight onto
the S-connectors
12
until they meet the wall. In-
sert the seals
10
in the swivel nuts and tighten
the tub fill / shower head valve
7
with a smooth
SW 30 mm spanner (not a ridged spanner).
Note: Ensure that the pre-installed plastic noise
absorbers have been inserted correctly in the
S-connectors
12
.
6. Insert one seal
2
in the diverter
6
and screw
this to the tub fill / shower head valve
7
.
7. Insert one seal
2
in the swivel nut of the shower
rail
13
and screw this to the diverter
