Installation / Operation
designated female threads on the fitting

Unscrew the handle from part 1 of the pop-up
pull rod

and insert it into the fitting

from
the bottom up so the female thread on the han-
dle faces to the back through the rear opening
on the fitting. Then screw it to the handle (see
Fig. C3).
Position the fitting

over the washbasin tap
hole (see Fig. C4).
Below the washbasin first place the C sealing
washer

, then the C metal washer

over
the two thread bolts

(see Fig. C4).
Now screw the securing nuts

onto the thread
bolts

and tighten with a spanner SW 9 mm
until the fitting

is firmly seated on the
washbasin (see Fig. C4).
Unscrew the upper pop-up flange

from the
lower pop-up flange

From the top insert the upper pop-up flange

with the upper pop-up seal

into the wash-
basin drain hole.
Place the lower pop-up flange

with the lower
pop-up seal

beneath the washbasin drain
hole.
Now screw together the lower pop-up flange

and the upper pop-up flange

so the
pop-up plastic nut

faces to the back (see
Fig. C5).
Unscrew the pop-up plastic nut

from the
lower pop-up flange

, leaving the seal in-
side the female thread of the lower pop-up
flange

ATTENTION! DANGER OF INJURY, SHEET
METAL HAS SHARP EDGES.
Temporarily remove the clip and pop-up joint

from the pop-up pivot rod

for installation.
Be sure the seal remains on the pop-up pivot
rod

Place the pop-up plastic nut

over the longer
piece of the pop-up pivot rod

. Be sure the
seal is placed between the ball and pop-up
plastic nut

Inset the short section of the pop-up pivot rod

into the female thread of the lower pop-up
flange

and retighten the pop-up plastic nut

hand tight.
Reattach the clip and pop-up joint

to the
pop-up pivot rod

Insert the pup-up pull rod

through the plas-
tic section of the pop-up joint

and tighten
the screw using a cross-tip screwdriver.
Verify the pop-up is working properly. The plas-
tic screw below the pop-up drain plug

may
need to be adjusted. Then retighten with the
lock nut.
Install the siphon by screwing together the
siphon and the pop-up screw thread

Check the seals inside the swivel nuts

the flexible connection hoses

Screw the flexible connection hoses

to the
angle valves. Be sure to correctly install the
flexible connection hoses

to the cold- / hot
water hoses – left flexible connection hose
10
to the hot water connection, left angle valve,
and the right flexible connection hose

to
the cold water connection, right angle valve
(refer to Fig.C5).
Operation
Start-up
After the initial commissioning, carefully check all
connections for leaks.
Check the operation of the fitting. To do so,
swing the handle

into all permissible posi-
tions.
Note: the fitting
1
features an LED light. The LED
is lit through an integrated turbine (without batteries).
The LED colour changes automatically based on the
water temperature through an integrated tempera-
ture sensor:
· up to approx. 33°C blue,
· from approx. 33-43°C green,
· over approx. 43°C red.
Note: over approx. 53°C the LED light will begin
to flash red to warn of potential scalding.
