1. Insert the two sections of the

telescopic shaft (20, see small

image) into each other.

Ensure

that the cable is not caught.

2. Insert the end of the telescopic

shaft (20) into the opening (9)

provided on the rear on the

unit handle (1) until it clicks into

place. The pole can be attached

in 8 positions (each at a 45° an-

gle offset). Select the setting that

is most suitable for you.

3. Adjust the length of the telescop-

ic shaft (20) to your body height

using the height-adjustment

screw (18).

4. The unit can now be switched

on and off (16) after moving the

off-lock switch (15) at the handle

(17) of the telescopic shaft (20).

5. To dismantle, press the safety

button (19) and pull the telescop-

ic shaft (20) out of the unit.

Keep to noise abatement regula-

tions and other by-laws.

Switching on and off

1. Remove the blade guard

(10/13) before switching the unit

on.

2. To switch on, move the off-lock

switch (3) forwards. While keep-

ing the off-lock switch forward,

switch the unit on at the on off

switch (2) and let go of the off-

lock switch. The unit will run at

its highest speed.

3. In order to switch off, let go of

the on/off switch (2).

When using the telescopic shaft (20), the

unit can

only be switched on and off at

the shaft handle.

After switching the unit off, the

blades take a short time to stop

moving. Let the blades come

to a complete standstill. Do not

touch the moving blades and

do not try to stop them moving.

Injury hazard!

General working instructions

While trimming, take care that

there are no objects such as wire,

metal parts, stones etc. come into

contact with the blades. This can

lead to cutting head damage. If the

blades become blocked by solid

objects, switch off the unit at once.

• Check the grass and bush trimmer

blades for obvious defects such as

loose, worn or damaged parts. Check

that the screws are seated firmly in

the blade block.

• Only use sharp blades to achieve a

good cutting performance and pre-

serve the battery.

• Do not work the unit so hard that it

comes to a standstill.

• Pay attention to the instructions on

unit maintenance and cleaning.

Use as a grass trimmer

Assembling/Removing the Wheels:

• To mount the wheels (5), as-

semble the lateral axle (23) into

the both guidance elements (24)

at the underside of the tool and
