Assembling instructions
• Alwayas wear cut-protection gloves
• Undertake only work with which you
are confident.
• In case of uncertainty, contact a spe-
cialist or contact our service directly.
Prior to commissioning the device, you
must:
- attaching and setting the shoulder
strap
- fitting the saw chain and blade
- tensioning the saw chain
- fill up with chain oil
- charge and insert the battery (see
“Charging process”)
Attaching/setting the
shoulder Strap
1. Attach the carabiner hook of the
shoulder belt (15) to the carrying
eye (16) on the telescopic arm of
the device.
2. Set the belt length in a way that
the carrying eye (16) is at hip
height (see small image).
3. You can also adjust the height of
the carrying eye (16) on the tel-
escopic arm after loosening the
hex socket head screw (16a).
Fitting the saw chain and
blade
Turn off the appliance and, before
doing any servicing, remove the
battery.
1. Loosen the blade fixing screws
(5) and remove the chain wheel
cover (6) (see small image).
2. Spread out the sawing chain (1)
in a loop in a way that the an-
gled cutting edges of the chain
links are aligned clockwise.
3. Place the sawing chain (1) into
the blade groove.
4. To install, hold the blade (2)
tilted at an angle of approx.
45 degrees upward, and guide
the sawing chain (1) around the
chain wheel (24).
5. Place the blade (2) so that the
drill hole (25) in the blade (2) fits
the chain dowel pin (26).
6. To facilitate the assembly, posi-
tion the chain clamping pin (26)
by turning the chain spanners
(3).
7. Assemble the chain wheel cover
(6) with the blade attachment
screws (5).
8. Tighten the blade attachment
screws (5) with light hand force
only because the sawing chain
(1) must still be tightened.
Ensure that chain tensioning pin
(26) is positioned in hole (25) on
the blade (2). The pin must be com-
pletely inserted into the hole.
Tensioning the saw chain
Turn off the appliance and, before
doing any servicing, remove the
battery.
The tension of saw chain (1) is important
both for your safety and for the function of
the cordless pruner. A correctly tensioned
saw chain will increase the lifetime of your
equipment.
