LED Bike Light Set
Introduction
We congratulate you on the purchase of your
new appliance. You have chosen a high quality
appliance. The operating instructions are to be
considered as part of this product. They contain important
information concerning safety, assembly and disposal.
Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all
the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the
product as described and for the specified applications. If
you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that
you also pass on all the documentation with it.
Proper use
The product is intended as a light source on bicycles for illu-
minating the road. The light provided is intended as an ad-
dition to dynamo lighting. Illumination provided by the LED
battery light set without further supplementation is only al-
lowed on racing cycles weighing less than 11 kg. The distri-
bution of the light must not be obstructed by any other part
of the bicycle. The product is intended for outdoor use. Any
use other than that described, or any modification of the
product, is not permitted and may result in injury and / or
damage to the product. The manufacturer is not liable for
damage caused by improper use. The product is not intended
for commercial use.

unsupervised with packaging materials. The packaging
material presents a danger of suffocation. Children often
underestimate dangers. Always keep children away from
the product. This product is not a toy!

or intellectual capacities are limited must never be allowed
to use the product without supervision or instruction by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with
the product.
Please note that the guarantee does not cover damage
caused by incorrect handling, non-compliance with the
operating instructions or interference with the device by
unauthorised individuals.
Never take the product apart under any circumstances.
Improper repairs may result in considerable danger for
the user. Repairs should only be carried out by specialist
personnel.
The LEDs cannot be replaced.
Safety advice concerning
batteries / rechargeable
batteries
CAUTION! EXPLOSION hAZARD! The
batteries must never be recharged!
Remove the batteries / rechargeable batteries from the
product if it is not in use for any length of time.
When inserting the battery, ensure the correct polarity!
This is shown inside the battery compartment.
If necessary, clean the contacts on the batteries and on
the appliance before inserting them.
Remove spent batteries / rechargeable batteries immedi-
ately from the device. There is an increased danger of leaks!
Always replace all the batteries / rechargeable batteries
at the same time.
Batteries / rechargeable batteries must not be disposed
of in the normal domestic waste!
Every consumer is legally obliged to dispose of batteries /
rechargeable batteries in the proper manner!
CAUTION! EXPLOSION hAZARD!
Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries away
from children. Do not throw batteries / recharge-
able batteries into a fire.Never short-circuit them or take
them apart.
If the above instructions are not complied with, the batter-
ies may discharge themselves beyond their end voltage.
There is then a danger of leaking.
If the batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked inside
your appliance, you should remove them immediately in
order to prevent damage to the appliance!
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes
if fluid is leaking from the batteries / rechargeable batter-
ies. If you come into contact with corrosive battery fluids,
flush the affected area thoroughly with clean water and
seek medical advice immediately.
Before initial use
Inserting the batteries /
rechargeable batteries
The lights are battery or rechargeable battery operated.
Note: Only use alkaline batteries or comparable recharge-
able batteries with 1.2 V .
Slide open the battery compartment cover 6 , 15 towards
the back and remove it from the lamp casing 2 , 14 .
For the front light, pull the battery compartment 7 out
of the light.
Insert the batteries / rechargeable batteries into the battery
compartment 7 , 16 . Check the polarity of the battery
during insertion! This is shown inside the battery com-
partment. Use only batteries / rechargeable batteries of
the specified type (see “Technical Data”).
For the front light, replace the battery compartment 7 .
Slide the battery compartment cover 6 , 15 back onto
the lamp casing 2 , 14 .
Note: Charger and rechargeable batteries are not included.
Only use a charger from a specialist retailer, which is suitable
for charging 4 rechargeable batteries each of 1.2 V. The
charger requires a 3.5 mm terminal. If necessary consult a
specialist in order to avoid damage and danger.
Note: The charging socket 8 for the charger is located
on the front light.
CAUTION! EXPLOSION hAZARD! The
batteries supplied must never be recharged.
Only rechargeable batteries can be recharged.
Note: A battery indicator is located in the On / Off
button 1 and 10 the front and rear lights. This lights up
red when the batteries need to be replaced, or the
rechargeable batteries need to be recharged.
Mounting the lights
Front light:
Release the locking screw 4 from the mounting ring 5 .
Place the mounting ring 5 around the handlebar.
Tighten the locking screw 4 to secure it in the mounting
ring 5 .
Note: With the aid of the rubber seals 9 in the mount-
ing ring 5 , adjust the bracket 3 to fit precisely to your
handlebar.
Slide the lamp casing 2 onto the bracket 3 .
Rear light:
Place the mounting ring 11 around the seat post.
Slide the lamp casing 14 onto the bracket 13 .
Loosen the locking screw 12 , but do not remove it com-
pletely to be able to adjust the beam angle of the rear light.
Retighten the locking screw 12 .
Operation
Switch on the lights by pressing the On / Off button 1 , 10 .
Press once to activate the Power Mode. Press twice to
activate the Eco Mode.
Switch the lights on again by pressing the On / Off
button 1 , 10 again, either once or twice.
Note: The front light has two brightness settings:
Power mode with 30 lux: Press the On / Off button 1
once for cycling in dark, unlit areas.
Eco mode with 15 lux: Press the On / Off button 1 a
second time for cycling in lit areas.
Note: If the LEDs fail then the whole light must be
replaced.
Cleaning
Do not under any circumstances use corrosive or abrasive
cleaning agents. Otherwise damage to the product can
result.
Use a slightly damp, fluff-free cloth for cleaning the product.
Do not immerse the lamp in water!
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable
materials that you can dispose of at your local
recycling facilities.
Como utilizar
Ligue as luzes, carregando no botão de Ligar/Desligar
1 10 . Prima uma vez para ativar o modo de energia.
Carregue duas vezes para ativar o modo ECO.
Desligue de novo as luzes, carregando novamente, i.e.,
por duas vezes o botão de Ligar/Desligar 1 10 .
Recomendação: As luzes frontais têm duas intensi-
dades de iluminação:
Modo de energia com 30 Lux: Pressione o botão de Ligar/
Desligar 1 uma vez para áreas escuras, sem iluminação.
Modo Eco com 15 Lux: Pressione o botão de Ligar/
Desligar 1 uma segunda vez para zonas iluminadas.
Recomendação: Se os LEDs avariarem, terão de ser
trocadas as luzes completas.
Limpeza
Nunca utilize produtos de limpeza abrasivos ou corrosi-
vos. Caso contrário, o produto poderá ficar danificado.
Para a limpeza, utilize um pano ligeiramente humede-
cido e que não liberte pêlos.
Não mergulhe as luzes em água.
Eliminação dos resíduos
A embalagem é feita de materiais não poluentes
que podem ser eliminados nos contentores de
reciclagem locais.
As possibilidades de reciclagem dos artigos utilizados
poderão ser averiguadas no seu Município ou Câmara
Municipal.
Não deposite o produto utilizado no lixo domés-
tico, a favor da proteção do ambiente. Elimine-o
de forma responsável. Pode informar-se no seu
município sobre os locais de recolha adequados
e o seu período de funcionamento.
As pilhas avariadas ou gastas têm de ser recicladas de
acordo com a diretiva 2006 / 66 /CE. Entregue as pilhas
e / ou o aparelho nos locais específicos destinados à sua
recolha.

Danos ambientais devido à eliminação
incorreta das pilhas/baterias!
As pilhas/baterias não podem ser eliminadas no lixo
doméstico. Podem conter metais pesados nocivos e estão
sujeitas à regulação de lixos tóxicos. Os símbolos químicos
dos metais pesados são os seguintes: Cd = cádmio,
Hg = mercúrio, Pb = chumbo. Como tal, deposite as pilhas
utilizadas num ponto de recolha adequado do seu município.

Montar as luzes
Lâmpadas frontais:
Solte o parafuso de fixação 4 do anel do suporte 5 .
Coloque o anel do suporte à volta da 5 barra de
direção.
Fixe de novo o parafuso de fixação 4 no anel do
suporte 5 .
Recomendação: Ajuste de forma precisa o suporte
com a ajuda da borracha de colocação
9 no anel de
colocaçã 5 ao 3 seu condutor.
Empurre a caixa das lâmpadas 2 para o suporte 3 .
Luzes trazeiras:
Coloque o anel do suporte à volta 11 da barra.
Empurre a caixa das lâmpadas 14 para o suporte 13 .
Solte o parafuso de fixação 12 , não o desaparafuse,
no entanto, totalmente para ajustar o ângulo de saída
da luz traseira.
Fixe de novo o parafuso de fixação 12 .
Volte a colocar o compartimento das pilhas 7 nas
luzes frontais.
Volte a colocar a tampa do compartimento de pilhas
6 15 na caixa das lâmpadas 2 14 .
Recomendação: o recarregador e as baterias não estão
incluídas no material fornecido. Utilize apenas um carregador
do comércio especializado, que está capacitado a carregar
4 baterias de 1,2 V em simultâneo. O carregador necessita
de uma ligação de 3,5 mm. Informe-se eventualmente junto
de um técnico especialista, para prevenir danos e perigos.
Recomendação: A tomada de carregamento 8 para o
carregador encontra-se nas luzes frontais.
CUIDADO! PERIGO DE EXPLOSÃO! As
pilhas fornecidas não podem ser carrega-
das. Só podem carregar-se as baterias.
Recomendação: No botão de Ligar/Desligar 1 e
nas luzes frontais e traseiras 10 encontra-se um indica-
dor de bateria. Caso este acenda a vermelho, as pilhas
devem ser trocadas, i.e., devem carregar-se as baterias.
Caso ocorra derrame de ácido das pilhas/baterias, evite o
contacto com a pele, olhos e mucosas. Em caso de con-
tacto com o ácido das pilhas, lave imediatamente a
zona afetada com água limpa abundante e consulte
um médico logo que possível.
Antes da colocação em
funcionamento
Colocar as pilhas/baterias
As luzes funcionam a pilhas ou a baterias.
Recomendação: Utilize exclusivamente pilhas alcalinas
ou baterias comparáveis com 1,2 V
.
Deslize a tampa do compartimento da pilha 6 15 para
trás e retire-a da caixa da lâmpada 2 14 . Retire o com-
partimento das pilhas 7 da lâmpada, nas luzes frontais.
Insira as pilhas/baterias no compartimento 7 16 das
mesmas. Tenha em atenção a polaridade correta! Esta
é indicada no compartimento das pilhas. Utilize apenas
pilhas/baterias do tipo indicado (ver “Dados Técnicos”).
Ao colocar as pilhas, tenha em atenção a polaridade

Se necessário, limpe os contactos das pilhas e do apare-
lho antes da sua colocação.
Retire de imediato as pilhas gastas do aparelho. Existe
um elevado risco de derrame!
Substitua sempre todas as pilhas/baterias ao mesmo tempo.
As pilhas/baterias não devem ser depositadas no lixo
doméstico!
Cada consumidor é legalmente obrigado a eliminar
corretamente as pilhas/baterias!
CUIDADO! PERIGO DE EXPLOSÃO!
Mantenha as pilhas/baterias fora do alcance
das crianças, não as atire para o fogo, pro-
teja-as contra curto-circuitos e não as desmonte.
Em caso de inobservância das indicações, as pilhas
podem ficar descarregadas para além da sua tensão
final. Neste caso, subsiste o perigo de derrame.
Se as pilhas/baterias começarem a derramar ácido
dentro do aparelho, retire-as imediatamente para evitar
danos no mesmo!
