Registration slot

Step 6. Slip coupling cover, canopy cover and
canopy onto the downrod. Carefully reinstall
the hanger ball onto the dowrod. Make sure

set screw on hanger ball is tight. (Fig. 9)

Step 8. Now lift motor assembly into position

Rotate motor assembly until the “check
groove” has dropped into the “registration
slot” and seats firmly. (Fig. 11)

Step 7. Carefully pass the upper glass bowl
over the downrod and let it rest on top of the
motor housing. (Fig. 10) Align the slot on the
mounting plate with the screw stem on the
motor housing. Set the mounting plate so the
screw stem comes through slot on the mounting
plate with the bottom curled end of the mount-
ing plate resting against the side of the glass
bowl. Tighten the manual nut provided. Repeat
this process for the remaining two mounting
plates. Install four (4) lamps 15W (included),
one in each sochet.

NOTE: The entire motor assembly should not
rotate if this is done correctly.

place and tight before installation the following
steps.
