Step 1. Remove the Wiring Harness from the
Ceiling Fan “Switch Housing”. This includes the
Reverse Module, Capacitor and 9 Pin Connec-
tor. Refer to Fig. 34.
Step 2. Connect the Black wire from the Light
Fixture to the blue wire from the Wiring Har-
ness by pushing them together. Repeat this
procedure for the White wires. Now, remove
the paper from the double sided tape on each
of the components of the Wiring Harness and
attach them to the inside of the Light Fixture
Switch Housing. Refer to Fig. 35.
Step 3. Attach the Light Fixture wiring to the
Ceiling Fan wiring by taking the “Square 9 Pin
Connector” from the Light Fixture and pushing
it into the “Square 9 Pin Connector” from the
Ceiling Fan until the snap engages. Please
note each connector is Color Coded and will fit
together one way only. Refer to Fig. 36.
Step 4. Now tuck the wiring connections neatly
into the switch housing. Align the key hole slots
on the side of the switch housing to the three
(3) screws on the side of the mounting plate.
Turn the Light Fixture until it locks in place at
the narrow end of the key holes. Secure by
tightening the three (3) screws previously
loosened. Refer to Fig. 36.
Step 5. Remove the Socket Nut from each of
the lamp sockets. Place a glass shade over a
socket and replace the socket nut using the
plastic socket nut tool provided. Repeat for
each socket. Finally install the proper size and
wattage lamps (provided). Refer to Fig. 37.
Special Notice: This appliance is equipped
with a “Wattage Limiting Device” required by
the United States Department of Energy. The
device has been installed at the factory and
can not be removed.
Installing Lamps in excess of 190 total watts
will disable the unit’s light fixture. If this should
happen, you will need to reset the lighting
fixture by turning the power off to the ceiling
fan and /or light fixture, reinstalling lamps
totaling less than 190 watts and then turning
the power back on.
