Messages
When you receive a new message, the flashing lamp, accompanied
by a message tone or beep or vibrating alert, give you notice of a
message, and the New message or Voice message icon appears
in the display. The message icon will remain until the message is
marked as read or heard.
The message tone can be silenced by a press on the Mute key.
