5 GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
Do not use if broken, bent, cracked or damaged parts are presented. Any light that
appears damaged in any way or operates abnormally shall be removed from service
immediately. Inspect before each use.
This light is not to be used by children.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not shine directly into eyes.
Do not leave the light turned on and unattended.
Do not alter or modify this product and do not attempt to repair the battery.
Do not use in wet conditions, it is not waterproof.
Do not expose to fire or high temperatures. The battery may explode.
Do not charge or use near open flames or glowing embers.
6 OPERATION
6.1
Floodlight mode
Hold the light by it
’s body and pull the lens section upwards to open the lantern and turn on the
LED
’s position(I). The Extendable Work Light operated as a floodlight using 30 LED’s for
maximum illumination. work time in this mode is up to more than 2,2 hours on a full charge. Do
not look directly at the light when opening the floodlight.
6.2
Spotlight mode
Press the on switch Position (II). In this mode the Extendable Work Light operates as a
spotlight using 6 LED, this gives a powerful focused light with a maximum illumination. work
time of up to more than 4,5 hours on a full charge.
7 CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS
The Extendable Work Light must be fully charged before being used for the first time as soon
as taken from the package
This will ensure that the battery gives its best performance now and on future re-charging
cycles. The AC/ DC charging adapters are for re-charging the battery only. They can not be
used to directly power the light. Always ensure the light is switched off whilst charging.
To prevent overheating do not charge for more than 8 hours
7.1
Safety Precautions
Store in dry location and do not allow the charging adapter to come in contact with water,
rain or snow.
If the charging adapter comes into contact with water, place in a dry location at room
temperature. on a soft absorbent towel and allow too dry thoroughly.
Do not operate the unit until it is completely free of moisture.
Use only the DC charging adapter supplied with this light. Do not attempt to charge the light
with an adapter that is not compatible as this could result a fire, damage to the light or
personal injury.
7.2
Using the AC charging adapter
Use 230V AC charging adapter indoors in a dry location only. Exposure to damp or wet
conditions could cause electrocution or damage to adapter.
Do not use the charger in the vicinity of flammable liquids or materials.
1.
Stand the light vertically on its base. Plug the adapters jack plug into the socket on the
base of the light next to the charging indicator lamp.
2.
Plug the adapter into a 230V socket and switch the socket on(if applicable).
3.
The charging indicator lamp will glow RED while charging is in progress.
