Notes About Disposing of the Camera

Removing the Battery (When Disposing of the Camera)

1. Turn off the camera.

• If a USB cable is connected, remove it.

• If a memory card is inserted, remove it.

2. Remove four screws with a Phillips

screwdriver, and then open the memory card
slot/connector cover.

3. Use your fingers as

shown in the illustration
to remove the cover.

4. Take out the battery, and then hold the connector and pull it upward.

Recycling Used Batteries

Replace the battery when it no longer holds a charge. Used batteries are a valuable
resource. Please recycle used batteries in accordance with local regulations.
