Reception can be considerably impaired by obstacles (e.g. concrete walls)
or sources of interference (e.g. other electrical devices). In the event of re-
ception problems, change the position of the weather station (e.g. to some-
where near a window).
The time signal is updated daily at 03:00. If the search for the signal is not
successful, it is repeated at 04:00.
End the search for the radio signal (DCF) by pressing the ▲ °C / °F 17
and ▼ ALARM ON / OFF buttons 16 at the same time. Hold both
buttons pressed down for 3 seconds until a tone sounds and the radio
icon in the display goes out.
You can search for the radio signal (DCF) in the same fashion. The
time can be set manually as described in the chapter “Adjusting basic
settings”.
Adjusting the basic settings
1. Press and hold down the MODE / SET button 20 for 3 seconds. A
small beep tone sounds.
Note: In the following, the settings which can be adjusted blink in the
display. Different settings can be adjusted one after the other.
2. Change the pre-settings by pressing the ▲ °C / °F button 17 or
▼ ALARM ON / OFF button 16 .
3. Press the MODE / SET button to save the setting you have made. Now
the next setting is displayed.
4. If no buttons are pressed for 12 seconds, the display returns to the
time display.
