General Safety Information
Children or persons lacking knowledge or experience in handling the
device or have limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, must not use
the device without supervision or instruction by a person responsible
for their safety. Children must be supervised at all times to prevent
them from playing with the device.
CAUTION! When choosing where to position the weather station,
make sure that it is not exposed to direct sunlight. Set up the device in
a dry, dust-free interior room. Otherwise it might be damaged.
This device has delicate electronic components. Do not place the
appliance near to sources of interference, such as mobile telephones,
wireless transmitters, CB-radios, remote controls or microwaves, etc.
These may hinder reception of the radio signal.
Safety advice concerning batteries
CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD! The batteries must never be
recharged!
When inserting the batteries, ensure the correct polarity! This is shown
in the battery compartments.
If necessary, clean the battery and device contacts before inserting the
battery.
Remove spent batteries immediately from the device. There is an
increased danger of leaks!
Batteries must not be disposed of in the normal domestic waste! Every
consumer is legally obliged to dispose of batteries in the proper manner!
