MEMOBUS/Modbus Termination
This drive is equipped with a built-in termination resistor for the RS-422/485 communication port. DIP switch S2 enables
or disables the termination resistor as shown in
Figure 11 . The OFF position is the default. The termination resistor
should be placed to the ON position when the drive is the last in a series of slave drives.

WARNING! Fire hazard. Tighten all terminal screws to the specified tightening torque. Loose electrical connections could result in
death or serious injury by fire due to overheating of electrical connections. Improperly tightened terminal screws can also cause
erroneous equipment operation.
Select appropriate wire type and gauges from Table 13 . For simpler and more reliable wiring, use crimp ferrules on the
wire ends.
