Filling you hydraulic pump:
1. Remove the cap on the front of the hydraulic reservoir.
2. Add three (3) quarts of hydraulic oil into the reservoir.
(Refer to Recommended Hydraulic Fluids section.)
3. Replace the cap on the hydraulic reservoir.
4. Run the pump to remove excess air from hoses and
cylinders.
5. Remove the cap on the front of the hydraulic reservoir
again.
6. Add the remaining two (2) quarts of hydraulic oil for a
total of five (5) quarts of hydraulic oil in this hydraulic
pump.
7. Replace the cap on the reservoir.
Operation of your hydraulic pump:
1. Refer to the selector valve decal for proper instruction
on raising and lowering your pontoon trailer.
2. To operate, use the pump operating lever. Push the
lever from side to side, to either raise or lower your
pontoon trailer.
Recommended Hydraulic Fluids:
To properly perform the dual function of the lubrication and
transmission of power, we recommend the use of a good
quality SAE10 Grade Hydraulic Oil for systems having an
operating temperature range from 0°F minimum to 160°F
maximum temperature range. Operation at fluid tempera-
tures below 160° F is recommended to obtain the maxi-
mum unit and fluid life.
