SOFT PATCH PANEL
In the XtenDD / DD35 software there are several possibilities to select a video input
signal via an assignment. Each of these implementations pursues a particular pur-
pose.
2.14.1
CP--INPUT BUTTON ASSIGNMENT
Assignment of the video inputs to any buttons according to the requirements of the
user.
Application: the user wants to sort the sources in such a way onto the buttons that
control is facilitated. Thus, the order of the keys does not correspond any longer
to the order of the physical inputs.
2.14.2
VIRTUAL INPUTS
Real inputs with different settings e.g. input correction.
2.14.3
COUPLING OF BUSES VIA SUBSTITUTION TABLES
(AUX--COUPLE, M/E--COUPLE)
When changing the source at a bus, the source of a coupled bus follows up accord-
ingly to an assignment table (SubsTab).
AUX--Couple:
Coupling is also effective over the TiM/E Memo; coupling of the buses can be con-
figured with individual Subs Tabs over as many levels as you like.
Application: e.g. simple second--user application by coupling an AUX Bus to a PGM
Bus.
M/E--Couple:
Coupling is made on command level and is ineffective at TiM/E--Memo Recalls.
The basic setting of the coupled M/Es is made via TiM/E--Memo Recalls. Incoming
commands are passed on from a Master M/E to the Slave M/E, realizing the input
coupling via SubsTabs.
Application: more complex time utilization bar
