18.1 Specifying a XML-source
Insert a Sources >
Double-click the object to edit.
18.2 Selecting records from the XML-source
Double-click the XML-object to edit.
Click
Select Records.
The XML-record selector opens. This window shows the structure and content of the XML-source.
Click the + and _ signs to collapse and expand the XML-nodes.
In the left window, select the top node.
In the center window, select a record.
The right window lists the selected record(s).
Click
Save to save the selection.
Click
Test grab to test grab the selection.
18.3 Linking the XML-object and Record select object
Drag the XML-object on top of a Record select object to link. Then use the Record select object to
select record(s) and parameters.
Note that it is advised not to use special strings in XML-sources to avoid translation to a special character
sequence.
