Installing and removing the power module
This chapter describes how to install and remove the power module and the power cord. To prevent
damage to the device and personal injury, follow the installation and removal procedures illustrated
in
, respectively.

Precautions
•
Wear an ESD-preventive wrist strap and make sure the wrist strap makes good skin contact.
•
Before installing the power module, make sure the operating voltage provided by the external
power supply system is consistent with that marked on the power module, and the output voltage of
the power module is consistent with the powered device, preventing damage to the power module
and powered device.
•
Do not touch any naked wire or terminal. Doing so may result in a personal injury.
•
Never place the power module in wet locations and prevent fluid from leaking into the power
module.
•
Do not often open the shell of the power module to prevent damage to the power module. If a
failure occurs on the internal wires or units, contact the technical stuff to troubleshoot the problem.

Prepare the following tools for installation and removal:

Flat-blade screwdriver
•
Phillips screwdriver
•
ESD-preventive wrist strap

Before installation and removal, make sure no power cord is connected to the power module.
