Front Panel Controls and Indicators
Each front edge indicator and switch setting is explained in the diagram below:

Remote/Local switch:
Sets the control of the
module to remote or
local.
Error red LED:
ON indicates module is unable to
lock to video input reference.
Pwr green LED:
Indicates the presence (ON)
or absence (OFF) of power
(+5V).
CPU green LED:
OFF:
A power fault or halted CPU
ON:
A halted CPU
FAST BLINK:
CPU Run error
SLOW BLINK:
System OK. (If SPI control is
active from the main frame
System Control Module, all
Run indicators will be syn-
chronized.)
Int Lock yellow LED:
ON indicates module is generating
output signals which are locked to
the internal on-board reference.
NTSC/PAL switch:
Set for the type of video signal.
Auto/Int switch:
Set to Auto to use either master or
external reference input to module.
Set to Int to use on-board reference.
Tray Ref switch:
Set to On (right) to select master
reference from frame.
Set to Off (left) to select module
reference.
Mute switch:
(Auto/Int must be set to Auto.)
Set to On (right) to mute audio
outputs on loss of input reference
signal.
Set to Off (left) to not mute audio on
loss of input reference signal.
Vid Pres green LED:
ON indicates external video
reference is present.
