switch to the corresponding CNG-capable CODEC, even you have disabled “CNG”.
To configure Voice Activity Detection
a. Press 【
】 FUNC + 【 】 # to activate menu.
b. Go to submenu “8. Advanced” / ”3. CNG”.
c. Configure to “Enable” or “Disable” silence suppression.
10.12. Registration on Demand
You can dictate the terminal to refresh registration immediately to all service domains by
pressing 【Regis 】 tration . If you have gone offline (see-below), by pressing
【 】 Registration key, it will restart regular auto-registration scheduling as necessary too. During
registration, the corresponding green LED will flash. Based on the registration result, the LED will
have different indications:
Green LED
On: Successfully register to all activated service domains.
Red LED
On: At least one activated service domain could not be registered.
Green LED Flashes: Registration is in progress. Note, IP SIP Phone will regularly refresh
SIP Address-of-Record registration as necessary.
Red LED Flashes: No activated service domains have ever registered successfully.
LED is off: Users explicitly logs out all SIP service and goes off-line ‘till user presses the
【 Registration】key again to go on-line (re-register to all SIP service).
I. To can go off-line explicitly by:
z From keypad (TELNET): going to 【Main Menu】/ 【 8.Advanced】 / 【3.System
Admin】and pick 【1.Logout】.
z From web browser:
„ Go to 『IP SIP Phone』/ 『Advanced』 / 『System Admin』=> “Un-REGISTER”
to go offline.
