1.
Position adapter mounting bracket on bottom side of machine as shown in Figure 1.
2.
If machine does not have mounting bracket provisions, use bracket as a template and position it
2-1/4" from end. Cover electric motor to prevent shavings from falling into vent openings and drill
four 3/8" mounting holes to underside of main frame. Use caution when drilling mounting holes, a
drill collar is recommended to limit travel and prevent damage to electric motor (see Figure 1).
3.
Fasten adapter mounting bracket to main frame using supplied 3/8" hardware.
Note: There are two different length hex head bolts, use the shortest bolt in the hole identified in
Figure 1 with short nyloc nut to prevent interference with motor assembly.
4.
Finish attaching mounting bracket to machine with supplied 1/2" mounting hardware. There are
three sets of holes to accommodate different size tires. Use the set of holes that mounts unit closest
to machine for modified tires. The set of holes furthest away from machine should be used for larger
late model tires (see Figure 2).
5.
After unit is bolted in place, attach support strap to unit, position and mark main frame of unit for
upper mounting bolt. Drill a 1/4" hole on mark, and secure upper support strap (see Figure 2).
6.
Thread handle onto rod end and install tire tool head on handle as shown (see Figure 3).
