Check motor speed. Unit is
probably running too slow.
Change gear reducer to a higher
ratio unit.
Sometimes operators will let
the drive hang off the auger
without removing it fully from
the housing. This will bend the
auger.
Check auger to housing
clearance, and if pellets are
binding auger, consult factory.
Check auger for straightness.
Bent augers are not covered
under warranty.
The feeder and 110V loading
systems may be wired into the
same outlet.
Check input voltage and wiring
size to see if a low voltage
situation exists. The voltage
will check out at 120V when
there is no load. Check the
voltage when all the units are
operating at the same time. It
will sometimes drop 20% or
more. This indicates that the
wire size to the outlet is too
small to carry the load required.
This condition will normally
show up first on the loading
system motors.
If the drive motor burns out or
blows fuses.
?
Check the extruder screw speed
pick-up proximity switch to
ensure that it is reading the
extruder screw revolutions
accurately.
