RS-232 has a 9-pin SUB-D plug.
PIN 1 No connection
PIN 2 Receive data
PIN 3: Transmit data
PIN 4: +12 VDC (at 1 kOhm)
PIN 5: Ground
PIN 6: No connection
PIN 7: Request to send
PIN 8: Clear to send
PIN 9 No connection

DF32 can be switched between two different main power supply voltages.
The change over is carried out inside the machine by moving the wires to the positions indicated in
Fig. 10.2.
