Measuring Frequency
1. Insert the black test into the COM jack and the red test

lead into the V/Hz%/Ω/Cap/°C jack.

2. Set the Function Switch to the ‘Hz %’ position.
3. Touch the test probe tips to the circuit under test.
4. Read the frequency on the display.

Measuring Resistance

1. Set the Function Switch to the position.
2. Insert the black test lead into the COM jack and the

red test lead into the V/Hz%/Ω/Cap/Temp jack.

3. Touch the test probe tips across the circuit or part under

test.

4. Read the resistance in the display.

Notes:
When the test leads are not connected to a component or
circuit, the LCD will display ‘OL’.
DO NOT CONNECT THE TEST LEADS TO ANY PART OR
CIRCUIT WITH VOLTAGE PRESENT. DOING SO MAY
DAMAGE THE METER OR RESULT IN USER INJURY.

Measuring Diodes

1. Set the Function Switch to the

position.

2. Insert the black test lead into the COM jack and the red

test lead into the V/Hz%/Ω/Cap/Temp jack.

3. Press the MODE button repeatedly until the diode

annunciator ‘ ‘ is visible on the LCD.
