3.3.5. Slope
The slope function is intended for measuring the degree
of slope.
To measure the slope:
1. Press
Suunto in the main display to access the func-
tion menu.
2. In the function menu, scroll to Slope with the arrow
buttons and press Suunto. When you incline the
Suunto S6, it starts to display the angle indicating the
degree of slope on the screen. The sighting marks on
the ring help to point to the chosen direction.
3. When the angle is selected, lock it by pressing Start.
The angle remains on the display.
4. Press Start to unlock the angle and to start measuring
the slope again.
5. To move back to the function menu, press Suunto.
The declination is now set and you return to the func-
tion menu.
NOTE: The measured value is not saved in the Suunto
S6 memory.
