Counter channels may be interfaced to devices that
produce a single output phase. In such cases, the
counters are configured for operation in either mode
3 or mode 7. Connect the device output to the +A
input. Connect the +B input to GND. Leave the -A
and -B inputs disconnected:
Many encoders utilize single-ended TTL or CMOS
compatible outputs. If you are using this type of
encoder, connect the encoder A output to the +A
input and connect the encoder B output to the +B
input. Leave the -A and -B inputs disconnected:
