3.3 Switching the flash unit on and off

• Switch on the flash unit with the

button. The start screen appears. The flash
unit always switches on afterwards with the
mode of operation that was used last (e.g.
manual flash mode M).

The

ቨ button flashes red in stand-by

mode. To switch off the flash unit, press
the

ባ button until all displays turn off.

If the flash unit will not be used for an
extended period of time, we recommend that
you switch off the flash unit with the

button and remove the power source (dispo-
sable/rechargeable batteries).

3.4 The selection menu

• Press the

ቨ button as often as it takes

for the selection menu to appear.

The selection menu is divided into 4 sensor
buttons:
