Forming the flash capacitor
The flash capacitor incorporated in the flash
unit undergoes a physical change when the
flash unit is not switched on for prolonged
periods of time. For this reason it is necessary
to switch on the flash for approx. 10 minutes
every 3 months. The batteries must supply suf-
ficient power for flash readiness to be indica-
ted within 1 minute after the flash was swit-
ched on.
Metz does not accept any liability for
faulty functions or damage to the flash
caused by the use of accessories from
other manufacturers!
