4.8.1.3. DV-AVI File Format
1. DV-AVI Type

Type 1: Video file in Digital Video format.
- This is the native format of video in a digital camcorder.
- Video and audio are in the same stream.
- Requires a splitter that divides video and audio.

Type 2: Video file in general AVI format.
- Video is compressed in DV format.
- Video and audio are in separate streams.
- Needs to be converted into type 1 to be transferred to a digital
camcorder.
2. Video resolution: Select NTSC or PAL.

NTSC: 720 x 480 resolution

PAL: 720x 576 resolution
3. Audio sample rate: Select audio frequency.

32kHz

48kHz
4. Video output is generated.
