General Information
The Model 12508-006 Valox ® Enclosure Mid-Section Drain Hole Sealing Kit services the Model 272
Series Intrinsically Safe Telephones and the Model 351 Series Div. 2 Telephones.
It includes the following components:

3 #7
× 3/8-inch thread-cutting screws
3 Fiber washers
Sealing the Drain Holes
1. Locate and confirm that there are three drain holes on the bottom of the enclosure’s mid-section.
N OTE : If there are no existing drain holes, do not install the screws and washers provided in
this kit.
2. Using the supplied fiber washers and #7 thread-cutting screws, install as a sealing mechanism in each
of the three drain holes. Refer to Figure 1. Take care not to over-torque the screws when tightening.
