Connecting AC Power to the Rack
The Model 495-001 requires a 15-amp, single phase, 60 Hz, 120 V ac power source. The cable should be
routed through the underside of the 19-inch rack assembly and connected to the duplex outlet in the
bottom rear of the rack. Use an appropriate cable clamp (Romex, BX, etc.) for installation.
Connect the white wire from the power cable to the orange/black wire on the outlet. The black wire from
the power cable should connect to the red wire on the outlet. All ac circuits within the rack are pre-wired
to this outlet.
CAUTION
Be sure the AC
ON switch on the front panel is of the Power
Supply/Metering/ Panel assembly is in the down (Off) position before applying ac power.
