Chapter 3 BIOS Description
Integrated Peripherals
v SIS Onchip IDE Device
Press enter to set onchip IDE device.
v SIS Onchip PCI Device
Press enter to set onchip PCI device.
v Onboard SuperIO Device
Press enter to set onboard superIO device.
v IDE HDD Block Mode
This option is used to set whether the IDE HDD block mode is allowed.
v Onboard Lan Boot ROM
This option is used to decide whether to invoke the boot ROM of the onboard
LAN chip.
v Onboard FDC Controller
This item is used to set whether the onboard FDC controller is enable.
v Onboard Serial Port 1/2
This items are used to assign the I/O address and interrupt request(IRQ) for
the onboard serial port 1/2.These items cannot be adjusted.
v UART Mode Select
Use this item to select the UART mode.Setting values include Normal, IrDA,
ASKIR. The setting value is determined by the infrared module installed on
the board.
v UR 2 Duplex Mode
This item is available when UART Mode Select is set to either ASKIR or IrDA.
This item enables you to determine the infrared function of the onboard infra
red chip.
