Change Performance Settings
Selecting this task will open a simple mechanism for managing the performance of
the system. It displays the current profile assigned for a given performance category
(Business, Gaming, or Relaxed), and the actions that invoke the profile.
Launch the NV Profile Manager wizard
Use new application and profile
Note:
It is necessary to first run the NVPE(NVPerformance
Examiner) wizard before trying the manage system
performance, since it will create the profiles used.
The user may pull-down the profile menu, and select a different profile. The list
will be built from profiles currently existing in the profile directory. The user may
also select “Choose profile”, which will launch an explorer window.
The user may also add applications to the action list by selecting “New appli-
cation” from the list window, which will launch an explorer window. Finally, they
may remove any action by selecting it and deleting it from the list.
