Chapter 2 Installation Instructions
Audio Connector: CD_IN, AUX_IN (optional)
CD_IN, AUX_IN are Sony standard CD audio connectors, to receive audio input
from the CD-ROM, attach the audio connector to the CD_IN,AUX_IN audio con-
nectors on the motherboard.
The Serial ATA II connectors are used to con-
nect the S-ATA II devices to the motherboard.
These connectors support the thin Serial ATA II
cables for primary internal storage devices. The
current Serial ATA II interface allows up to 300MB/
s data transfer rate.
Serail ATA II Connectors: SATA_1, SATA_2,
SATA_3(optional),SATA_4(optional)
1394 Connector: F_1394 (optional)
The 1394 expansion cable can be connected to
either the front (provided that the front panel of
your chassis is equipped with the appropriate
interface) or the rear panel of the chassis.

Speaker Connector
The speaker connector is used to connect
speaker of the chassis.

SPDIF Out Connector: SPDIF_OUT
The SPDIF out connector is capable of provid-
ing digital audio to external speakers or com-
pressed AC3 data to an external Dolby digital
decoder.
Note:The empty pin of SPDIF cable should be
aligned to empty pin of SPDIF out connector.
