ground.
Operation: Start PTO, GT460 automatically loads 35,000 pound preset.
Open door to unload grain. Target weight is reached 5000 pounds early,
sounding alarm for operator to close the door. The preset is deactivated at
30,000 pounds to correct for overfill, and the data is logged when the PTO
is stopped.
RE-CALIBRATING THE SCALE
To re-calibrate the scale and make it even more accurate, document at
least 3 to 6 loads of varying sizes and measure the actual weight of all
loads on a certified scale.
• It must be assured that each truck is not losing grain in transit to a
certified scale.
• Weigh the truck immediately before unloading and immediately
after unloading to minimize errors due to changes in fuel etc.
In this example, six carts of grain are unloaded into four semi-trucks.
