Step Description

From the Main Menu select Administration sub-menu.

From the Administration menu, select Access Lists sub-menu

Set AccessClient1

Set IP Address to 172.16.10.0

Set Number of subnet bits to 24

Set Access List Enforcement to Enabled
Now CiM 2 can only be pinged from PC 1 (and any other device on network
172.16.10.0/24) or accessed via Telnet or FTP or web interface. PC 2 will not be able to
ping CiM 2 or access via any other means. To allow PC 2 access to CiM 2:
