From the Main Menu select Administration sub-menu

From the Administration Menu select the Feature Configuration sub-menu

Enable Transmit DES Encryption by pressing T

Enable Receive DES Dencryption by pressing R

From the Administration Menu select the DES Configuration sub-menu

Set Transmit Key 1 to ABCDEF0123456789

Set Transmit Key 2 to FEDCBA0123456789

Set Receive Key 1 to 0123456789ABCDEF

Set Receive Key 2 to FEDCBA9876543210

From Main Menu select Route Table sub-menu

Select QOS/DES sub-menu

Select first route by pressing 1

Press Enter for Minimum and Maximum Bandwidth

Set DES Key to 1 (i.e. Key 2 – ABCDEF0123456789 will be used to encrypt all
datagrams on this route)
